The TSCL Bravehearts bowling attack leads the way to a memorable victory against the Midwest Cricket League.

Samir Shura  with  7 overs, 2 maidens, 1 wicket for 10 runs, really got TSCL off to a great start.  The bowlers hunted in pairs , with Vivek Singh from the other end 6 Overs, 2 wickets for 20 runs feeding off his partners tight bowling. Troy & Jamuel both added to the wicket tally and Ruffy with some wily leggies & some great caught & bowled  cleaned up the last 3 wickets in 1.5 overs, to sweep away the MWCL batting lineup. The bowlers great work and some sharp fielding by Jamuel & Shreyas (of All-star catch fame) & run outs from Samir Khan &
Bhupen Patel kept the MWCL boys on the backfoot.  Shreyas, now living in Denton TX, traveled 5 hours just for this TSCL Rep game ! Good job Skipper .  MWCL were bundled out for 120 !!!

Alice Fox put together a great lunch, (even though she was unwell at the time) - Ruth & Chelsea Singh served lunch, while Alice had returned to bed to recuperate. The lunch was enjoyed by all, with several players asking for her curry & dessert recipes.

TSCL's batting saw a few runs from a number of players, nothing that really stood out,  with most players giving away their wickets cheaply. Abhishek, as he did in the all-star game , was again a master blaster with 25 * off 32. However all in all it was enough of an effort to get over the line victoriously in the 21st over.

Thanks to all the players, and the friends & family that helped make the first TSCL Rep Game one to
remember. Also thanks to Anil D'Souza for agreeing to stand as umpire for the entire game.
